Terms of Service

By ordering service from SproutBox agreement to our terms of service, listed below, is signified.

This is an agreement between Audentio, LLC doing business as SproutBox and you, the customer. Throughout this agreement SproutBox will be referred to as "us", or "we", the customer will be referred to as "you" or "customer".

What can I host? AKA Acceptable Usage Policy

We like to keep things simple, as such you can host under your account any content considered legal under United States law.

OK, but what can't I host?

Due to the impact these have on a shared hosting environment the following cannot be hosted on our servers, including but not limited to:

  • Pirated software, Nulled Software/Scripts
  • Hacking related programs or archives
  • Warez sites (linking or hosting)
  • Mass Email Software/Scripts/Sites
  • Proxy Sites & Software (Excluding VPS)
  • IRC Related Software/Scripts/Sites
  • Torrent Related Software/Scripts/Sites
  • Any software with the primary purpose of hosting images
  • Any content, scripts or material for which you do not own the copyright or license to use

Any breaches will result in immediate suspension pending termination.

I want to host google.com on your server, can I? AKA Resource Usage Policy

Unfortunately certain websites aren't suited for a shared hosting environment, as a site grows (ie more traffic or visitors using the site) this can impact heavily on the server and the level of service for all customers hosted on the server. Equally a site with very few visitors can impact the server as well, scripts for video processing/editing can negatively impact service levels with relatively small usage.

As such we monitor our servers constantly, should a site be deemed to be outgrowing a shared hosting environment we will contact you to let you know. Suggestions will be provided, where we can, for optimization and a timeframe of 5 days will be given to lower resource usage.

If resource usage cannot be lowered within that timeframe we would suggest an appropriate upgrade (ie VPS), providing 30 days free on the upgraded service to allow further time for resource usage to be lowered.

In very rare instances if high resource usage may result in severe degradation in server performance, we may as a last resort need to suspend the account at that time

How can I pay?

We accept Paypal and most major Credit/Debit cards, and offer a 30 day money back guarantee from the original order date (excluding domain registrations and third party addons including but not limited to SSL certificates, cPanel licenses).

Invoices are generated 14 days prior to the renewal date and a reminder is sent 7 days prior to renewal due date.

Accounts are suspended automatically if payment is not received within 5 days of the renewal due date, we encourage customers to contact us if a late payment is anticipated.

Uptime Guarantee

We aim to provide the highest quality hosting service available, unfortunately sometimes technology has a hiccup which can result in downtime. We offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee within a calendar month.

  • 99.9% - 100% uptime: No Credit
  • 99.5% - 99.9% uptime: 5% Credit
  • 99% - 99.5% uptime: 10% Credit
  • 98% - 99% uptime: 15% Credit
  • 95-98% uptime: 25% Credit
  • Less than 95% uptime: 100% Credit

To request credit please send an email to billing@sproutbox.io within 30 days of any downtime, credit will be calculated and awarded at the beginning of the next calendar month (ie credit for January would be calculated and applied in February). Credit will not be awarded if the account is in arrears

Client Responsibilities

We require complete and valid account information (First Name, Last Name, Mailing Address, Telephone Number) in order to provide service, if this is not provided we may request ID verification at our sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability

SproutBox shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from Sproutbox servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever.

Furthermore, SproutBox shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of SproutBox's servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.
